The whole elephant


I often claim that psychology is the hardest science. In this talk, I will explain why. To dispel discouragement, I will also suggest that bringing back into psychological thinking lost insights from cybernetics can make the hard job easier. Finally, I will argue that embracing open science practices will accelerate the pace of discovery.
